Darlington Yoga Group

Darlington Yoga Group is a local association of British Wheel of Yoga Teachers which aims to provide yoga for everyone.

The group organises regular seminars led by local or national teachers. These classes, held at the Millennium Centre in Ravensdale Road Darlington unless otherwise noted, are suitable for all levels from beginners to experienced yoga teachers.
Occasionally, we also organise full weekends of yoga within the Northern Region.

The Darlington area is very active in all aspects of yoga. Classes are available on most days and evenings which are suitable for all levels of fitness.

Yoga has been found to give great benefits particularly for arthritis, ME, MS, stress, asthma and breathing problems.

Yoga Teaching Scams

Watch out for bogus e-mails requesting one to one yoga teaching, be very suspect of any request where the sender does not reveal who they really are. The scam usually involves asking for rates for teaching yoga (no doubt other disciplines as well) they then accept your rates and send money order to cover the cost, they usually make a "mistake" and send too much requesting that you send them the surplus back! Needless to say their bank draft looks OK and will be accepted by banks, but will bounce later, by then they hope to have received your refund and cashed it so watch out.
